Discovagh is operated by E&D Tech Solutions, based in Wa, Upper West Region, Ghana. We are committed to protecting the privacy of both business owners who list on our platform and customers who use it to find services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform. This includes:

  • Business owners: business name, category, region, city, description, phone number, WhatsApp number, Telegram handle and email address for paid plans.
  • Customers: we do not require customers to create accounts. Public browsing is anonymous.
  • Usage data: basic, non-personal information such as page visits, to help improve the platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used solely to:

  • Display your business listing on Discovagh.
  • Verify your business and activate your listing after payment.
  • Communicate subscription reminders and updates.
  • Improve the platform and user experience.

4. How Your Data is Stored

Business listing information is stored in a secure database on our server. Contact details for Standard and Premium listings are displayed publicly on your listing page as part of the service you have subscribed to.

5. The Notify Feature

Discovagh includes a “Notify This Business” feature for Free plan listings. When a customer taps it, we log the notification so the business owner can see there is customer interest — helping them decide whether to upgrade. No customer personal data is collected by this feature.

6. Cookies

Discovagh uses a session cookie for admin authentication only. Public visitors are not tracked with cookies. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Your Rights

As a business owner listed on Discovagh, you have the right to request that your listing be updated, corrected or removed at any time.

8. Third-Party Links

Listing pages may contain links to WhatsApp, Telegram and other external services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these platforms. Please review their respective privacy policies.
